About the Role:
Join Powerhouse Gym in Linden, NJ as a Certified Personal Trainer and help clients achieve their fitness goals in a dynamic and supportive environment. We are looking for passionate fitness professionals who can inspire and motivate members to lead healthier lives. Spanish bilingual preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement personalized fitness programs tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct fitness assessments and track client progress regularly.
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle changes to enhance overall wellness.
- Lead engaging and effective training sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings.
- Maintain a clean and safe workout environment for all members.
- Stay updated on fitness trends and best practices to provide top-notch service.
- Build strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and retention.
- Promote gym services and programs to encourage member participation.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Personal Trainer from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA).
- At least 1-2 years of experience in personal training or fitness coaching.
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and injury prevention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients to reach their fitness goals.
- CPR/AED certification is preferred.
- Passion for fitness and commitment to continuous professional development.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client availability, including evenings and weekends.
